Suzuki's Amazing Motorbike! The GSX Series!

GSX is a series of super fast and cool motorbikes made by the Japanese company Suzuki. It has many different friends, from hero-like bikes that race to lively bikes that ride around town.

What Kind of Friends Are There?

In the GSX series, each friend is good at different things. Let's look at the main ones!

• GSX-R: This bike was born to win races and is especially fast in the series. To block the wind, it is fully covered by a shell called a "full cowl." Riding on the racetrack, it looks just like a rocket!
• GSX-S: This bike inherited the powerful engine of the GSX-R, but it was made to be easy to ride around town. The handlebars are higher up, so you can sit in a comfortable position to drive. Many of them have no cowl or just a small one.
• HAYABUSA (GSX1300R Hayabusa): This is the legendary bike of the GSX series, made to be the "ultimate sport bike." It has a unique, rounded cowl inspired by the fast-flying peregrine falcon. It is so cool you will never forget it once you see it!
• KATANA: This bike was designed after the Japanese sword, the katana. It is a cool new version of a bike that was super popular in the past, and its sharp, straight lines look so cool!

How to choose your colors

When you color your GSX, using colors often used in Suzuki races will make it look super cool!

• Main body color: When you think of a Suzuki bike, it has to be "blue"! Using bright blue or deep blue really gives it that GSX feel. Other popular colors are a sharp "black," a passionate "red," and a clean "white."
• Engine and muffler: The engine is the heart of the bike, and the muffler is where exhaust comes out. They are made of metal, so coloring them "silver," "black," or "gunmetal (dark gray)" makes them look real.
• Tires and wheels: Color the tires a powerful "black." If you make the part touching the ground a little grayish, it might look like it is running! Wheels look cool in black, gold, or colors that match the body.
• Headlight: Color the light part "yellow" or "light blue" to make it look bright. Coloring around it black makes it look like it is shining bright!

Tips to make it shiny and 3D!

When the bike's fairing looks shiny, it feels fast and cool! Let's think about "light" and "shadows."

• Places where light hits: Leave the raised parts of the fairing and the highest part of the tank white or color them with light colors. This makes them look shiny in the light!
• Places in the shadow: Try adding darker colors or black to the lower parts of the bike, inside the fairing, and deep inside the engine. This makes your bike look super 3D!

• Race track: Drawing red-and-white striped curbs and a straight road makes it look like it is in a race! So cool!
• City view: Drawing buildings, traffic lights, and white lines on the road makes it look like it is touring through the city.
• Mountain road: Drawing green trees and winding roads makes it feel like a nice ride through nature.
