Tips for Painting the Spotted Hyena Beautifully
Here are some tips to make your Spotted Hyena look cool and real! Grab your colored pencils and let's have fun coloring!- Coloring the body: Gently color the whole body with yellowish-brown or light brown. If you hold your pencil flat and shade softly, it will look like warm, fluffy fur.
- Spotted pattern: Color all the spots on its body firmly with dark brown or deep brown. Making them darker than the body color will help the cool pattern pop right out!
- Face and feet: Layer a little black or dark brown around the nose, the edges of the ears, and the tips of the feet. This will tighten up the whole picture and make it look 3D!
- Background scenery: Color the grass and leaves behind it with green or light green, and the ground with light beige or gray. This will make your Hyena stand out even more!
- Tips for layering colors: Instead of pressing hard all at once, start with light colors and gently build them up in layers. That is the secret to a neat finish with colored pencils!
