    Use Green Shades for a Shiny and 3D Look

    To give the Japanese tree frog a smooth, slippery look, color with a few different shades instead of just one green!

    • Start with yellow underneath: Color the whole body lightly with yellow-green or bright yellow first. Then, layer bright green on top. This makes your green look shiny and fresh!

    • Leave shiny white spots: Leave the highest rounded parts on the back and head blank so the white paper shows through, or color them very lightly with yellow. This makes it look smooth and wet!
