How to write the uppercase "K" and lowercase "k"

Uppercase Alphabet "K" takes 2 strokes to write.
For ①, draw a straight vertical line down from the 1st top line of the 4 lines to the 3rd line.
For ②, draw diagonally down from the top right to the middle of the vertical line, and from there, keep going diagonally to the bottom right.
The trick is to draw it continuously like the letter "く" without lifting your pencil!
Lowercase Alphabet "K" also takes 2 strokes.
For ①, draw a long vertical line down from the 1st line to the 3rd line.
For ②, start from the height of the 2nd line, go diagonally down, touch the vertical line, and then keep going to the bottom right.
The feature of the lowercase letter is that the diagonal lines in ② are smaller than the uppercase letter.

How to Color Alphabet "K"

Big "K" and "k": Colors help with stroke order

For the big "K" and "k" at the top right, color inside the outlines with your favorite colors.
For the stroke order numbers, ① is in red and ② is in blue.
If you color the straight line red and the slanted lines blue, it is easy to see that they are made of 2 strokes.
You can also use gray or green to match the koala.

Color the koala gray and the tree brown

Color the koala's body gray.
If you leave the tummy, chest, and inside of the ears white or color them light gray, it will look like a real koala.
Try coloring the big nose black or dark gray, and the inside of the mouth pink.
Color the tree branch it is holding brown, and add some dark brown on top to make it look like real tree bark.

Color the small pictures too

If you color the 4 parts of the kite in different colors like red, blue, yellow, and green, your kite will stand out in the sky.
If you color the key yellow or ocher to make it look shiny like gold, it will look like a treasure.
Color the kangaroo an orange-brown, and color the baby in its tummy the same color too.

Tracing: Put the letters on the 3rd line

At the bottom right, there are 4 light gray "K"s and 4 light gray "k"s lined up.
Trace them slowly with a pencil in the correct stroke order.
The tip for tracing is to put the bottom of the letters right on the 3rd line of the 4 lines.
When you finish tracing, try writing Alphabet "K" by yourself in the open space on the right.
