The Hiragana "Na" comes from the Kanji "奈 (na)", which is also used in Nara Prefecture! People say that the Kanji "大" and "示" joined together and transformed into the Hiragana "Na" we use today.

Let's make a triangle rice ball

Here is a trick for the loop on the 4th stroke! Instead of making it round, try to picture a wide "triangle rice ball". When you sweep down at the very end, gently stop near the center of the character to make it look super pretty.

Balance the left and right sides

This character is a little tricky because you need to balance the "cross" on the left with the "dot and loop" on the right. If you write the left side a bit smaller and the right side nice and big, you will get a cool Hiragana "Na"!
