How to Choose Colors

  • Body lines: Try painting the lines above and below the windows in dark blue. This color is close to "French Blue".
  • Body color: Instead of pure white, paint the main body a creamy yellow. It will look just like the real thing!
  • Newest train (E235 series): Paint around its face in black, then add thin blue and cream lines around it.
  • Roof and underside: Paint the roof and the wheels in gray.

Tips to Make It Look Cool!

With just a little extra effort, your train will look even more real and full of energy!

  • Shining light: Color the window glass lightly with light blue at an angle, and leave a bit of white. It will look like light is reflecting off the glass!
  • Logo mark: There is a yellow-green mark shaped like a clover on the side of the Green Car. Don't forget to paint it to give your train a fancy look!
  • Destination sign: Write your favorite station name on the sign at the front of the train! What is your favorite station? Is it "Kamakura", "Zushi", or "Tokyo"?

Try Drawing a Background

The Yokosuka Line runs through many different places. Will you choose mountains full of green near Kita-Kamakura, a city with tall buildings near Yokohama, or a view of the sea near Kurihama? Use your imagination and draw whatever you like!
