How do you make it?

To make Cake, you usually mix eggs, sugar, flour, and other ingredients, then bake it in an oven. Once the sponge is baked, you decorate it with whipped cream and fruit, and it is ready! It takes time to make, but eating it together is so much fun.

Tips for making Cake

When you add the flour and mix it in, do not use a whisk! Use a spatula and fold it in gently. If you mix it too much here, the Cake will not puff up, so be careful!

  • For "plain," use light brown or cream color.

• Cream part (the white layers and the top):
  • For "whipped cream," use white or very light cream color.
  • For "chocolate cream," use brown.
  • For "strawberry cream," use light pink.
• Strawberries: Color them red and make them shiny! Add tiny dots of yellow or light orange for the seeds to make them look real.
• The drippy part on top: Match this to your Cake's flavor! Use pink for strawberry syrup, brown for chocolate, or white for white chocolate. Pick any color you like!

• If you use colored pencils: Press lightly or leave some white space where the light hits. This makes it look shiny!
• If you use crayons: Press a little harder to give it a nice, glossy look.

• Shadows: Look for darker spots, like under the puffy cream or deep inside the sponge layers. Color these spots with a shade that is a little darker than your main color.
• Highlights: Look for bright spots where light hits, like the top of the strawberries or cream. Use a lighter color or leave the white paper showing to make them sparkle!
