About Elgrand
Nissan's Big Luxury Minivan
Elgrand is a minivan made by Nissan.
A minivan is a tall car with lots of space inside, so many people can ride in it.
Elgrand is a luxury minivan. That means it is very big, with cozy seats and nice trim inside.
The back doors are sliding doors that move to the side, so getting in and out is easy.
The first version came out in 1997. People call it the "Original Luxury Minivan" because it is so spacious and smooth to drive.
After the first one became popular, other companies started making big luxury minivans, too!
The Secret Behind the Name
The name "Elgrand" combines "EL" from Spanish and the word "GRAND," which means great.
"EL" is like the word "THE" in English.
You can tell they wanted it to be the grandest minivan of all!
When the first one came out, it had two names depending on the shop: "Caravan Elgrand" and "Homy Elgrand."
In 1999, the name was joined into just "Elgrand."
Four Generations of Elgrand
The 1st generation came out in 1997, and the 2nd generation arrived in 2002.
The 1st and 2nd generations were built to run by turning the back wheels.
The 3rd generation came out in 2010, and it changed to turn the front wheels instead.
The floor got lower, giving you even more space inside and a smoother ride.
In 2014, it got a fresh look with an even bigger front grille!
The 4th generation went on sale on July 16, 2026. It was a brand-new Elgrand for the first time in 16 years!
The 4th Generation Runs on Electric Power
Every 4th generation Elgrand uses a system called e-POWER.
The engine works only to make electricity, and an electric motor uses that power to turn the wheels.
It has motors in both the front and back. It also uses a system called e-4ORCE to control all four wheels smoothly.
The seats in the second row have footrests, so you can relax on long trips.
It even has ProPILOT to help the driver on the highway!

How to Color Elgrand
Try Copying the Real Colors
All four model cars are white.
The first-generation model has a two-tone body with white on top and beige-ish silver on the bottom.
Try mixing light brown and gray to color below the door lines.
For white cars, leave the paper white and color only the shadowy parts with light gray to make them look 3D.
Of course, you can also color them in your favorite colors, like black or navy blue!
How to Color the Big Body
Elgrand is a very big and tall car.
On the wide side parts, move your colored pencil in the same direction to color evenly.
If you make the lower parts of the doors and the areas around the tires a little darker, it will look heavy and powerful.
If you choose to make a black car, leave a little white on the roof and hood to make it look shiny!
The Grille and Lights
Elgrand has a completely different grille shape for each generation.
Color the horizontal lines of the first and second generations silver, and color the gaps between the lines dark gray to make them look like real shiny metal.
For the big grille of the third generation, color the thick outer border in silver to make it sparkle just like the real thing!
The grid pattern of the fourth generation has lots of little squares. Take your time and color them neatly one by one.
For the headlights, try leaving the inside white and coloring only the edges in light gray.
Windows, Tires, and Wheels
Color the window glass in light light blue or gray, and leave diagonal white lines to make it look like real glass.
Color the tires dark gray or black.
The wheels are usually silver.
The third and fourth generation wheels have lots of thin spokes, so coloring the spaces in dark gray will make them stand out!
